First licensed as WNØTUB in 1976, Tim has been involved in many aspects of Amateur Radio in the Colorado Section: beginning as the first Colorado HF net manager, then as District 22 (Arapahoe County) assistant EC, EC, then East Slope District EC, Section Emergency Coordinator and finally as Colorado Section Manager.  He held the position as Colorado's Section Manager for ten years between 1991 and 2001.  Tim is a delegate to the Colorado Council of Amateur Radio Clubs and served as CCARC Chair from 2004 to 2008.  He is active with his home club, the Denver Radio League as well as HAMCON Colorado and Arapahoe County ARES.  Tim has been married to his XYL, Eileen, WDØDGL, since 1968.  They have two sons, Jim and Tim, neither of which are hams.

Tim serves on the Colorado Section Cabinet as a general advisor to the Section Manager.  With his many years service to the Colorado Amateur Radio community, he provides valuable insight and a great historical perspective.
