Ann was first licensed as a Novice in 1974 and presently holds a coded Technician class license.  In addition to her Section duties, she also serves as Secretary of HAMCON Colorado.  She was a founding member of Edge of Space Sciences and a member of the EOSS Tracking and Recovery Team. She is a member of Arapahoe County ARES and holds an appointment as an Official Emergency Station.  Ann is also a past President of Colorado YLs. She has also been active in Air Force MARS with the call sign of AFN2WYH. Apart from her ham radio activities, Ann is an active member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, John H. O'Brien Post 6331 Auxiliary.

The  PIC  is the expert advisor to the Section Manager on  public information and public relations matters. The PIC is also responsible for organizing, training, guiding and coordinating the activities of the Public Information Officers (PIOs) within the section
