Mike has been involved with Amateur Radio in Colorado for over 30 years.  He has held ARRL appointments as Official Emergency Station, Official Relay Station, Emergency Coordinator as well as Section Traffic Manager.  He coordinated Field Day activities for the Pikes Peak Radio Amateur Association for many years and was the club's public service event coordinator.  A well known source of expertise in traffic handling, home brewing, emergency operations and digital modes,  Mike is always willing to help others.  He is also a member of the Transcontinental Communications Corps and one of the foremost experts on the NTS in the nation. 

Mike's role on the Cabinet is to lead all NTS activities in the Colorado Section; to ensure adequate and appropriate avenues exist for the movement of NTS traffic to, from and through Colorado-- to establish the appropriate Section nets and recommend the appointment of net managers.
